National Literacy and Numeracy Framework

The National Literacy and Numeracy Framework has been put in place in Wales to help teachers to embed literacy and numeracy into all subjects for learners aged 5 to 14.

Pupils in Years 2-9 will complete National Reading and Numeracy Tests to assess their progress annually. These will take place every May.
