We started the football tournament by winning our first two matches and losing our third, drawing our fourth and winning our fifth and sixth. We cam second in our group, so got through to the cup. Then it was time for the quarter finals and we won. This week we have been celebrating Welsh week. Dosbarth Dolwen have been doing a dance and making Welsh cakes. And everyone is going to try and use as much Welsh as they can. Mrs Hughes has also put some signs up for the children to do a little bit of Welsh. We have a Welsh phrase of the week. This week it is Ble est ti? There was a football turn up and play at Ysgol Bryn Elian, with the local schools. We took 10 children to play and they all played very well. They all had a great time.

We had fun dressing up for World Book Day. Each class did their own activities. We had a whole school photo.

This week Dosbath Elian when on a trip to Nant BH. On the day we arrived we met some of the Nant BH staff, then we set our beds up and when to go have lunch it was sausage rolls with salad and coleslaw. Then we had some dorm time. After that we got ready for our 2 miles (3.2 km) walk in Cwm Idwal. It was very wet, but we had waterproofs on. When we got back we had dinner witch was roast dinner. This week for children's mental health week we have been on outdoor visits. We have been doing an activity outside or something good for our mental health and discussing how this helps. On Monday Dosbarth Elian went for a walk up the Marian. They enjoyed the fresh air and the views. On Wednesday Dosbarth Dolwen went litter picking in the village. Our teachers at school have been learning British Sign Language and completed a course, which they got a certificate for. We often learn about diversity. We have been using it in our assemblies and we once used it as a song (you got a friend in me). We also use BSL at the start of assembly and the end of assembly and we also try to use BSL a lot in our welsh assemblies on Tuesdays.

Dulas is doing their own play called Whoops-a-Daisy Angel. Betws and Dolwen`s play is called Straw and Order. And Elian`s and Marian`s play is called The Magical Christmas Jigsaw. For Year Six this is their last Chrismas play in Ysgol Cynfran.

This workshop was all about resilience and Bouncing Back we learnt all about different types of triggers. We had two booklets and we had one to do in school and when we finished it we got another one to do at home if we wanted to do it. We learnt about actors and how they felt on set like Emma Watson and Chris Evans.
