Years 5 and 6 WW1 Exhibition

Play Maker Award
Today the Sports Captains received the Play Maker award. The lady who came to assess the award, was happy that their booklets had been filled in and enjoyed looking at photos, showing what the children had been up to. Next time she comes to school, she will be asking pupils to show her what they have been doing. Hopefully they will receive the Bronze A ward during the Summer Term.

Mother's Day Lunch
Mother's Day lunch was a success. Mrs Jones, the cook fed lots of mothers on two separate occasions. Year 6 helped out as waiters and waitresses. As a reward, they were given a special lunch in The Zone, to say thank you for all of their hard work.

Sports Captains
The Sports Captains have been working very hard to ensure lots of sports are taking place in school. They attended Sports Ambassador training and are hoping to achieve the Active Play Maker Award. They have been doing things like warm ups during PE lessons and helping to set up equipment, as well as running their own games and attending School Council meetings.
